Vehicle Detail

1970 Honda CD175 It was also called the CD175K3 Color: Candy Blue The cylinders are nearly vertical rather than tilted forward The gas tank emblem reads "HONDA" The side cover emblem reads "175" It also had a 6-volt electrical system The drive chain was fully enclosed The frame was tubular steel of a cradle type The engine was an OHC parallel twin displacing 174cc and had a single carburetor It was linked to a 4-speed transmission This Honda was purchased from the Dealer’s Head Mechanic and has been in my possession for over 40 years. He had purchased it new. The motorcycle is all original, even the tires. As you look at the pictures of the tires you will see no checking, they are perfect. I rubbed them down with pure silicon, every year. The mileage on the motorcycle is 5275 miles. It is Candy Blue and that color was only made two years. I have all the options available at the time, on the bike. The manual for the motorcycle is also still in the storage area under the seat. The overall condition is perfect without a flaw on the seat or chrome. There are a few very small marks on the paint, but its’ condition is very good, for a bike this old and all original. It runs great and I have never had any issues with it. Annually, I have taken it to the local Japanese Motorcycle meet several times and the bike always wins 1st Place. Many have asked when I got it repainted, but the paint is all original. The judges at the shows state that they have never seen a CD175 this nice that is original. It has always been stored inside and covered. I have enjoyed this motorcycle for many years and now it is time for someone else to hopefully care for and enjoy it also. It is truly museum quality. On Mar-17-13 at 16:17:30 PDT, seller added the following information: 1970 Honda CD175 It was also called the CD175K3 Color: Candy Blue The cylinders are nearly vertical rather than tilted forward The gas tank emblem reads "HONDA" The side cover emblem reads "175" It also had a 6-volt electrical system The drive chain was fully enclosed The frame was tubular steel of a cradle type The engine was an OHC parallel twin displacing 174cc and had a single carburetor It was linked to a 4-speed transmission This Honda was purchased from the Dealer’s Head Mechanic and has been in my possession for over 40 years.
