This 1964 Galaxie 500 convertible is ready to make someone a great project. It is equipped with its original 289 engine and 3spd. transmission. These are increasingly popular cars that are getting harder to find, Here is a good start at a fair price. The car was originally green, it has been repainted red. I did hear the engine run last year when I purchased the car. The car will need total restoration; the body is in decent shape. It does have some rust in the lower rf fender, ls door skin, and lr lower quarter. The trunk floor has some rust as does the floor pans. The rust is shown in the pictures. The conv. X-frame is in good shape. The car is not complete, it is missing the convertible top assy. Seats, glass, rs rocker panel molding, & the chrome anchors for the top latches. All other trim is with the car including the windshield frame chrome. What I have for the car is included in the pictures; I tried to lay the parts out so that they could be seen. A $250.00 deposit is due within 24 hours via Pay Pal. The balance is payable in cash, cashier’s check or money order within 10 days of sale date. I have a good NC title for the car that will be handed over to the new owner after car has been paid for and funds have cleared. I would prefer the car picked up in two weeks but will work with the new buyer if more time is needed. If you are not serious please don’t bid! I am selling this car to the US and Canada only! The car sells as is where is but I will answer any questions and welcome anyone who wants to come and inspect the car prior to the end of the auction.
