Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII. This car is loaded with just about every available option that was offered in these cars. It has a great running 4.6L V8 engine that starts right up everytime with a good battery, good shifting automatic overdrive transmission and the car goes down the road just like a Mark VIII should. Heated power leather seats, power sunroof, premium sound system with CD changer in the trunk, premium wheels, 4 wheel disc brakes, HID headlights, power windows, power locks, power tilt/telescope wheel, power steering, good tires, power mirrors, power passenger seat, home link garage door system, good brakes, rear defrost, ice cold a/c, great working heater, and premium color pearl white. Car has 88,400 miles on it. Very fun and sporty car to drive, loads of power and performance yet it can still get pretty good mpg. Being a 1998 it does have some minor issues here and there. The drivers seat doesn't always work correctly and gets stuck in one position on moving up and back and the plastic on the side is broken on the front edge, the power tilt doesn't work all the time, and the air bag suspension on the passenger side will leak air out if the car sits for a few hours. It pumps right back up when you start the car and I have driven it like that for awhile, it doesn't bother me. They do make a retro fit for about $300 to remove the air bags on the front but technically its not broken so I never changed it to that style. Also the dome light switch in the drivers door doesn't always register that the drivers side door is closed. A few small things that most of these Mark VIII's have in common but the a/c and heater blend door works fine which is an expensive repair on these so thats good. If you're looking at this ad then you know that this is a loaded car and its the last year for this model so I wouldn't say it makes it rare, but desirable might be the right word to the right person. It's not a perfect car but its not new either. This is a rust free California car.The car passed smog with flying colors and runs and drives very nice. There are a few dents, dings and scratches here and there but overall it is a fine looking machine. You see less and less of these cars running around and I always get plenty of looks from people wondering when Lincoln ever made a sport coupe. Fly in and drive it home with no known issues to me other than the items I listed here. Doesn't leak oil or fluids on the ground, doesn't smoke, run hot or have any weird habits. Has current license till Jan 2014 and I have a clean and clear title in my name. Look at the pics and email with questions. Thanks for looking and good luck. Car is selling as is where is, there are no warranties implied expressed or given. Please be ready to pay for and pick up the car within 2 weeks of auction end. A $400 paypal deposit will be required within 48 hours of auction end. If you want to have the car transported please check into rates before you win the car, buyer to pay all transport fees. I will help out in any other way that I can. If you want to fly in and drive the car home I will pick up the winning bidder at the airport. I am selling the car with no reserve to the highest bidder. Thanks again and good luck!
