Up for sale is my 1978 Volvo 242DL. This car was purchased as part of an estate sale with 42,xxx miles, and has been driven by me to work everyday since then. I have taken the car on a few 100+ mile trips with no issues. I live in a condo, so parking is usually pretty sparse, which is why I am selling the car. Passes California smog with no issues 1978 Volvo 242 "flat hood" 4spd + OD 43,257 original miles currently (may be slightly higher as I do drive the car still) Title in-hand The car runs solidly. Could possibly use a tune-up, but can easily be run as-is for years to come. There is a dent in the driver's side door, as well as the driver's rear quarter panel near the tail light. There are factory Blaupunkt speakers, but there was no head unit when I purchased the car. I have done no modifications since the purchase. These engines run for hundreds of thousands of miles with proper care, and I would hope that the car will go to another enthusiast who will take car of the car for years to come.
