1946 Dodge Truck Rat Rod. Body-1946 body. Bed, running boards and fenders all sectioned to fit frame, all welds exposed. I believe the rear fenders are from a Chevy truck. Floor patched with license tags. Chassis:1987 S10 including disc brakes and stock rear end and S10 master cylinder Motor: Stock 350 Truck/Van Block according to numbers should be 4 bolt main. Aluminum 4bbl Intake, Edelbrock carburetor. Serpentine belt system. Transmission: Turbo 400, Shifts through the gears like it should, Shifter is b&m Ratchet Suspension: Air bags on all 4 corners, 8 Valves (each airbag has its own switch) 2-Vlair Compressors. Lays frame. Very functional with a rat rod look. Gauges: Harbor Freight..get the job done but not the most accurate. Cooling: Radiator moved to bed, truck runs around 200-210, electric fan on thermostat as well as switched from the cab. Wiring: All new wiring with new fuse block in glove box. All lights;brake,tail,turn signal, head lights(high/low) work. Radio works but doesn't get the best reception. Seat is original to truck, it is covered with Indian blankets Exhaust leak at header gasket...kinda fitting to truck so I never repaired, Truck was purchased in Georgia(no title) therefore it tagged as a 1987 S10. I am working on getting it tagged as a 1946 Dodge 1/2 ton truck with a Florida Title. Tires have about 3000 miles on them, they are painted to look like old whitewalls. Side windows go up and down but are not on tracks, they ride up and down on the old rollers. Exhaust: Dual exhaust with Flomasters, dump under the bed, no exhaust fumes in the cab. This truck is a driver. I would not drive it across country, but would not hesitate to drive it a few hundred miles.
