This engine and Auto Trans came out of our Super clean 1968 GTO that showed 24,000 miles. The car really looked like that was true. We bought the car wrecked to restore. But decieded to part it out. After pulling the engine and checking the codes. We found that the production date was mid Nov. 1969. And is a XH Engine. That shows it to be a full size Pontiac. The stamp on the heads indecate that they were ported and a mild street cam was installed in 2002. When we took it out the engine ran great.
