Vehicle Detail
I have a black on black '93 Mustang 2.3L auto hatchback with the GT turbine wheels that I need to sell. The car runs great; times are tough and they have cut my pay and my hours. Somethings are going to have to go. This is a fun little gas saver with a bumpin’ sound system and a two way alarm with keyless entry and remote start. The Mustang has brand new shocks, springs, anti-sway bar, steering rack, power steering pump and all Moog bushings. It also has new Firestone Affinity 4 season 70,000 mile tires, alignment, Interstate battery, alternator with wiring harnesses, belts, tensioners, hoses, anti-freeze, fuel filter, transmission seals, fluid and filter. The air conditioner blows cold, has new seals and has been converted to the modern R134A refrigerant. It has a brand new K & N air filter, window cranks, window vent visors, super chip, all new fluids and starts up and purs like a kitten and sips gas. Published data says 29 mpg highway. I haven't kept records, but that seems about right. The only items still on my list are a new paint job (clearcoat fade on top and a little rust on the lower driver's door and just above the rear, passenger tire). The frame and body are straight as an arrow, though. I also replaced the sunroof and window seals but there is still a leak when you wash it so I guess the door bushings are next; there are new ones in the glove box. The doors shut just fine, but I think their alignment is a little off. The spark plugs were replaced fairly recently by the previous owner. This is a neat, fuel injected 2.3 Liter four cylinder engine with two spark plugs per cylinder. Published data says 105 horsepower; thats without the K & N air filer and super chip. It has the same Pioneer CD player that it came with. It will play CDs recorded on your computer but not MP3s. You can upgrade to a double din stereo if you like, but the old unit sounds just fine and thieves don't look twice at it. The car came factory with 6 amplified speakers. I replaced the dash speakers with Infinity co-axials and built a nice bass reflex sub box for the hatch with a Credence 12" DVC sub driven by a brand new JBL 600 Watt amp which is all hidden nicely by the roll out hatch contents cover. It runs great with no leaks that I've been able to detect. The interior is clean with no tears, rips or burns. The door arm rests could use to be replaced, but that shouldn’t be a big deal. I've got well over $7,000 in it and have most all the receipts. She’s been around the block, with over 130,000 on the clock, but just about everything that can be replaced has been. It’s a bummer that now that she’s dang near perfect I need to sell her, but like I said, somethings are going to have to go. Keep an eye on my other items for sale. I’ll be adding other neat stuff in the next few weeks. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
