This is a 55 mercury monclair that i got from Missouri about 6 years ago. I got it home and had the carborater proffessionaly rebuilt and drove it 3 or 4 times. Then i put it in storage. My plans were to restore it but have decided to sell. The engine sounded good and the transmission pulled good. The car is really very solid. Inside trunk and spare tire well and floors are solid. Looks like it was all turquis because you can see where the white on bottom is chipping off. Car has a v8 but not sure of size of engine. Sorry that I have not took off the quarter inch of dust and grime, I know it would have looked better. Glass on the drivers door is broken but believe all other glass is good. These 55 merc's, even though its a 4 door sedan. has the look and desire you would see in a hardtop. I put on 3 new tires when I bought it. Selling as is where is. I think I am starting this car off at a low price of $2500.00. I am accepting cashiers check or money order 7 days after auction ends.HAPPY BIDDING
