This Firebird was a restoration project that was stalled for many years. When the owner developed health issues he could no longer continue. The owners friend told me that as far as he knew, all the parts are original, except for obvious, like brakes, spark plugs, wires, etc. I am not sure, nor have I checked the numbers to confirm or refute this statement. It looks original, the mechanical parts do not look as if they have been replaced and removed, from the quick going over I made, but again, I am not sure. There are no keys to this vehicle. The glaring problem with this Firebird is that it has significant rust. The lower quarter panels are rusted pretty good. There is a hole, about 12 inches, by where the drivers feet would rest, while not using the gas and brake pedal. There is rust by the front doors. Please look at the pics. The chassis looks fairly good, but has some rust. The interior looks mostly, if not all, original. I have not started this vehicle, nor will attemp to. I don't know when it was last started or ran. Any questions, please call, I'll be happy to answer them. The vehicle is sold "as is, where is"with no warrenty or return. I have done my best to describe it, and have taken many pictures. Last, this car does not have a title, as vehicles registered in NY state before 1973 were issued registrations, and not titles. I do have the clear registration. According to the registration, the car was last registered in May of 1996.
