Vehicle Detail

1969 Gilera Sears Allstate 106SS. Bought a small collection of bikes to hopefully race in AHRMA and the MotoGiro in Texas. I can't keep them all so selling a few of them. This 106SS comes with a clear title (not in my name). Please see the youtube videos of the bike in my youtube channel: laschichisBSA or search: Gilera Sears 106ss, there are about 4 videos. Frame and Body: Previous owner started redoing the bike but only got as far as the frame and fenders (they were powder coated). Bike was put back together and ridden but never finished. They look very good, nice and smooth. There are some chips. The inside of the tank is very good, not rusty. The toolbox was never installed on the bike and comes with the bike (not shown in the pics) Engine: The engine was never touched by the previous owner because it ran good. The engine starts 1st kick 90% of the time. The bike is missing the trans shifter. I used one from another bike to test out the trans. The transmission also shifts through all the gears while engine is running without a problem. The bike will need new cables. The exhaust header was painted but the paint is flaking off in some areas. The muffler look good and is not rusted thru. Wheels and Brakes: Rims are solid but rusty. Will need to be rechromed or painted. The brakes work great. Fork: The fork is not stuck and works but is missing the two top caps and the fork rubber gaiters. Seat: The seat has also not been touched. It is original but the stiching on the cover has come undone. Electrical: The electrical wiring is intact and functional. In the pictures the taillight lens is missing but it is included. The lens is cracked down the center. The front headlight also does not belong to the bike. The horn works great. This is a great little bike that will need new cables, headlight bulb, tail light lens and tool box installed, air cleaner, transmission shift lever, and fork top caps to become complete and rideable. For any questions or more close up pics please contact me. A deposit of $250 dollars is due in 3 days. Full payment due within 2 weeks. I can hold the bike for a month but payment still due in 2 weeks. Shipping is up to the buyer. I can help load.
