For Sale is a restored 1966 Lincoln Continental Roadster! It is VIN# 6Y86G401584 with 86126 original miles. The car was sold new in Hollywood California and spent most of it life in Hollywood CA. It traveled to Washington dc in the late 80s where it was restored, and put in dry storage until 2012. Included in the sale, and available for your inspection, is a one inch thick, binder that we refer to as “The Lincoln Log”. This binder documents the repairs and restoration process from bear metal to its current condition. Enclosed are pages & pages of Polaroid’s and receipts documenting the restoration process and the thousands of dollars spent on restoration and repairs. We also have a valid NJ title, an original service manual, and the Protect O Plate (POP). The convertible top is new, works correctly, and was just installed three weeks ago, the brake & fuel lines are new, the fuel pump is new, the carburetor has just been rebuilt, and the valves have just been adjusted. All of the glass is in the car is in good condition. The chrome is in good condition. The paint is a nice “Driver Quality” paint job with no major dents or scratches. The body is ROCK SOLID and completely RUST FREE! The frame is RUST FREE! The floors are RUST FREE! The Doors, Hood, Trunk, and Trunk Lid, are all RUST FREE! The car needs: some exhaust repairs, and some electrical repairs. The ignition switch works, but does not start the car. Installation of a new $42.00 neutral safety switch will correct the problem. The power windows are inoperable. The driver and passenger arm rests and switches are missing. They will need to be located and installed to repair the windows. These are all items that can be addressed by someone of average skill, or at any local repair shop. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
