Vehicle Detail

1972 chevy nova. originally a 307, v-8, 2 bbl, automatic on the floor, 10 bolt non-posi rear. Originjal color is orange with a white and light saddle interior. Originally came with bucket seats and a floor console for the shifter. Power steering and power disc brakes, also came with the optional side window, polished aluminum trim, which is all there and in really nice condition. The rolling shell, plus some of the parts is what is up for auction. The front sub frame was removed at some point and blasted and painted gloss black. New ball joints and upper and lower control arm bushings were installed. The power sateering box looks like it was blasted and painted and it had new steering linkage, idler arm and tie rod ends installed. It also has new front springs. The rotors for the disc brakes are there with the caliper brackets, but not the calipers. The floors have a couple of 6" x 6" patches on each side, where your feet would rest, already welded in place, the rest of the entire floor sections are rust free. The rockers, upper and lower cowl areas, top of the dash area, roof, tail panel, trunk lid and passenger side door are rust free. The drivers door has a rust hole the size of a quarter near the back edge of it. The rear inner wheel houses are also good. It needs rear outer wheelhouses and the lower sections of both the rear quarter panels. One small area on the left side the front windshield has some rust and a couple of areas around the rear window have some rust. Everything mentioned is definitely repairable. The roof, trunk and top of the cowl area have been epoxy primed. The body work to smooth out the roof and trunk has also been done. The trunk pan was replaced at some point also. It comes with some miscellanious parts shown in the pictures. There is no front end sheet metal, bumpers, bucket seats, engine or trans, to name a few items that aren't there. It has a set of traction bars on the original 3 leaf rear springs. The rear is a 1971, 10 bolt non-posi. I don't know the gear ratio. This shell is an excellent starting point for a restoration or street rod, etc. It's a pretty solid car considering it is probably from the northeast and is 41 years old. Ask any questions you like. Make sure you are ok with what you are bidding on, I don't want to waste your time or mine. I can assist with the coordination for pick up / shipping of the car and parts. The car is selling at no reserve, just a modest starting price. I don't need this car and I don't have any plans to restore it, so I want it out of the shop. The car is being sold as is with no warranty. All sales are final. a deposit through pay pal is required and the balance due before the car leaves. Thanks for looking and good luck.
