Asking $11,200 obo call Oscar if interested @256-390-5468 ALL questions shall be answered via ebay to protect both parties Sold new and now somewhat proven to be a “car for a lifetime” as Mercedes Benz called it original paint/interior extremely long running Turbo diesel is fast as most any gas car EXCELLENT FUEL ECONOMY 25-27mpg very,very smooth LOW MAINTENANCE COSTS pillar-less coupe---all windows, sunroof,radio, and clock all work perfectly the 25+ yr “classic” designation gives LOW insurance rates with an excellent safety and reliability record. ( Example-- my cost is $125/year for FULL coverage) meticulous extensive records only a two owner vehicle original books and records, even the “red dot” spare make this unit not too far removed from show quality convertible to Bio diesel so can run on vegetable oil ( yes, just pull up to Mc D’s and fill up with their grease cast off....and still get great mpg’s Excellent example of the iconic cars Mercedes used to say were “BUILT FOR A LIFETIME”. This particular 300cd is a true daily driver acquired in an estate sale. It has been wonderfully maintained and enjoyed yet is a wonderful classic.The previous owner was so meticulous that he chose to keep the original seats and steering wheel in the garage and had used the unit with others thus preserving the interior in pristine condition. There will be no replacing seat springs here as they seem to sit like new! The paintwork is in wonderful condition showing only a small dent to pass fender that is documented since almost new. Starts every time runs smooth and just rolls down the road. She is built in the old method from Mercedes with a solid German sound to the door securing you inside the near perfect interior. The high quality construction is evident throughout the vehicle and its condition is true testament to that effort. The styling is still commanding attention. Quite a large number of the 5cyl diesel engines are still running up and down the highway. The car is in great condition and will be sold without warranty. As most enthusiasts know 300,000 is not a great achievement but just reaching the “teen” years for this drivetrain. The main service simply involves a change of the air filter, adjustments of the valves, and an algae inhibitor in the tank once a year in the southern NON-salted road atmosphere this great car has resided in. A much simpler ignition system with NO SPARK PLUGS. One of the few flaws I am aware of is the "BLUE" dash being cracked. Real MBenz enthusiast regrettably know the blue ones tend to crack and many usually cover with the readily available plastic slide on cover. I recommend and will gladly work out a reasonable labor rate to replace the dash with OEM to put the cherry on top of this deserved beauty!! Feel free to come test drive and understand this is one of the nicest and fastest Turbo Diesels around.
