We purchased the vehicle from the insurance auto auction, the vehicle was there for flood damage. The vehicle DID NOT sustain any water damage to the inside, the water only came up to the bottom of the vehicle. The vehicle therefor, has NO water smell or stains. All of the electronics and wiring were checked and work properly. There are NO check engine lights or other warning lights on in the dash. We have changed all fluids and changed all filters. We found no water or signs of water in the engine, transmission, transfer case, or front and rear differentials. We took the Jeep on a 100 mile test drive with absolutely NO problems. The exterior DOES have some dings and small scratches.
