Up for auction is my 2001 CBR929RR Fireblade in yellow/black for parts or as a project with CRANKING MOTOR. The bike was purchased in 2009 with 4948 actual miles. I put approximately 3000 miles on the bike (see title). The bike was laid down Dec 12, 2010. I will attempt to give as accurate a description as possible as to the condition of the bike. The bike was in good running order until the accident. Tires and wheels: Tires have been sitting for 2 years (garaged) so its anybody's guess. They are Shinko tires, approx 2500 miles on them. Front tire is likely trashed. Front rim is dented. Rear wheel ok. Brakes: Front brake calipers are ok and intact. In pictures they are hung with a coat hanger. Front rotor is bent so calipers had to be removed to move bike. Rear brake system intact except for foot lever. Chain and sprockets were replaced approx 2000 miles ago, I do not remember the brand. I believe the sprockets are -1 front teeth +2 rear teeth. I replaced like-for-like i.e. the bike already had this gearing when I needed sprockets. I have the fairings pictured as well as the mid clip (around radiator up to knee-position, not pictured). The mid clip and the separate pictured fairing were not on the bike when it was laid down. This 'Blade has a full Hindle exhaust system. Its scratched up from poor mounting, see pictures. Exhaust is flat out rowdy. Low and throaty, no annoying whine. Rear passenger seat/storage cover has some tears (see pictures). Driver seat is in perfect shape, no tears or rips in vinyl. Motor: The motor has an aftermarket billet stator cover. Bike was knocked off stand in a parking lot. After being laid down the bike never lost oil or water, block is completely intact as far as I know. Radiator is still completely full of coolant after 2years parked. Motor oil was changed every 1000mi with Bel-Ray EXL 10W-40 (3qts included with bike). I could not get the motor to fire due to failed PCM, no spark. I have included a video link http://youtu.be/qH4oR61m4rc of the motor turning over solidly. Included is BMC air filter model number FM239/11, msrp $90.39. This filter dominates over K&N model for this bike. All forms of payment are accepted, but title and bike will remain with me until payment CLEARS. Buyer is responsible for collecting the motorcycle after payment is received and CLEARED.
