Vehicle Detail
This is an excellent opportunity for a good solid restortion project!! The car has been stored in a garage since 1982 and possibly before that based on the condition. This is a complete car and a restoration was started but never completed. The transmission was rebuilt in the early 80s and has the original mechanical brakes. The car is in running condition, but has not been started in 10 years since put in storage. The model A has a Murray body and has a build date of October 1929. The paint is orignial which give the car a great "patina", the body is very solid and straight only one dent on the rear right fender and an small dent in the rear corner of the body. I am selling this for my dad so if you have any questions please send me a message and I will forward them to him. Buyer is responsible for pick up / shipping of the car.On Feb-18-13 at 06:21:05 PST, seller added the following information: I have had several requests for pics of the interior. I do not have any pictures of the interior, but i have spoken with my dad and the interior is there but it is 84 years old and needs to be refurbished. The front door panels are gone, headliner is there (old and crusty), wood structure in intact, the front floor boards have been replaced, the front bench was recovered in the 80s. Also the engine has had some cosmetic work done (rebuilt carb, distributor work, new waterpump) no internal work has been done. The numbers on the engine match the title of the car so it is original to the vehicle. This is a pretty complete and and for the most part untouched survivor model A ford resting in a garage for the past 30 plus years. On Feb-19-13 at 11:58:44 PST, seller added the following information: I spoke with my dad today and he was cleaning out the car and checked the engine to make sure that it turns freely and it does. He opend the doors and the passenger side upper rear door hinge has come loose and needs to be repaired and over time the the hinges on the rear doors have started to sag a little bit so they need some attention. I am trying to be as transparent as possible on the vehicle and as issues come up through questions I receive we will share them here. Thanks
