1978 Toyota Corona WagonSerial # RT119071656, Motor # is 20R 771007Up for Auction I have a 1978 Toyota Corona Wagon with 86,100.9 original miles on the engine and chassie as of today. This Car say for Appox.10 years before I found it and I began a partial restoration in Feb. of 2012. It has New tires, Breakes, fuel pump, a fresh tune-up and a rebuilr Carburator. Air has been recharged and blows cold. Original radio does not work.Automatic Transmission works perfectly as does the engine. I have personally driven this car for about 10,000 miles now as my daily driver, and it performs well. It seems all the bugs have been worked out from the years of sitting. I had it newly painted in March of of 2012, to the original paint code. There were very few Corona's imported and most were used by the Dealers at the time as a personal driver. This is a very rare Car. There was no damage to the metal before it was painted, and it has never been wrecked to my knowledge. This was purchased from a reletive of the original owner. The original owner was a Toyota Dealer in South Carolina. This is a great little car that has been driven everyday for the last year. I am selling this because I am 6' 4" tall and i am now 60 years olds and it is hard to get into and out of. Plenty of other new stuff has been added including shocks, and Recovered front seat, so it is ready to go and very drivable right now.
