Vehicle Detail
First of All - This Car is in Virginia, USA! - I am a 100% ebay user from UK living/working in VA - additionally I will help in anyway possible with delivery assistance etc to the successful new buyer. The price and deposit should appear in $ not UK£ - I apologise if this is confusing. I am selling my lovely audi because I am leaving soon and cannot afford to have it fixed quickly! +++++ Actually the situation has changed - see below!! update 31st Jan, 2013 +++++++ The RHS engine mount has come away from the motor - the brackets are all good and the engine is resting on subframe - I stopped driving before any further damage was caused. The cost of the repair to the car has been estimated at $800 there are no parts required only labour - (This is updated today 31st Jan after full inspection at the garage) - the real problem for me is the time to fix! I am on contract and leave VA in Feb/March. The car is great and drove great - it has a fresh VA inspection and I was driving up until last week when this happened! Normal.dotm 0 0 1 192 1098 Cruinneag III 9 2 1348 12.0 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false Unfortunately I can not afford the time to have the car fixed at present so I am sadly going to have to sell it. Just so you know is dose drive and everything else works – you can come test and drive the car to see – but it is not advisable to try any long distance because this will lead to further damage! So if you are mechanically minded or have a garage, out of the snow! or a friend with a garage and some spare time – this is your opportunity to get a great car, fix it and have fun, fun, fun! These Audi TT’s sell for 6-9k all over the internet – go look !! Even a wrecked one I have seen listed for over 4k !! - I bought this one less than 6 months ago for well over 6K! So I am going to take the first reasonable offer over 4.5k US$ – that would save you about $3000 to make the car great and if you can do it yourself you have a bargain!! I can not tell you much more, email me questions and I will try and answer you asap. I haven’t owned the car for long but I looked after it, drove it daily and loved it...... the girls liked it too!! – with the obvious fault excluded it is a tidy good looking car, the leather is in good shape, heated seats, CD/IPod connection, AC, loaded The body work is in good shape – no rust, tires are good etc etc … I have receipts for timing belt, water pump etc and 2 keys. Like I said apart from this one “major time consuming fault” the car is in great shape – that’s the truth. So buy it cheep – fix the issue and your laughing! Thanks for looking N/B Update of car .... which is now in shop! Hello - Today 31st Jan, The car is now in our local shop and the report back is that the axel is OK (it did not break or sheer any bolts, as previously thought!) and it is the RHS engine mount which has come loose, it is hard to see or take photos because space is so crammed - however it appears as though it was the bolt which broke or came out, - the engine has been jacked back up into position and is sitting once again on its bracket. - but to fix the situation correctly and replace the bolt and check over complete , several pieces of the front of the car will have to removed to get in and re-mount the motor proper. - So no parts required at this stage!!! However it will take some time to remove front pieces of the car to get in and work on everything. We are looking at mostly labour and the repair estimate I was given is $800 - if the car dose not sell tonight on e-bay - it will be fixed next week and sold the following week for its true value of $6500 +The car now drives! But again it must be fixed correctly and not driven long distance until the repair is complete!!Last chance to get a steal!!! PS - Thanks to all the chaps who offered me 2k! for the car - No thanks! -
