Vintage 1962 Willys Jeep 4x4 Pickup Truck Here we have for sale a really cool 1962 Willys Jeep pickup truck for sale. This is a very desirable style of Willys they came out with. Its a really neat that its a 4x4. The truck is unique with the solid curved glass front windshield. There is also the complete stainless steel trim on the doors and cowl of the truck which is in fantastic shape. The truck is an original California truck. Its in excellent condition for the age. The previous owner who bought the truck when it was almost new put a 1960's Chevy 194ci straight 6 engine mated to the original Willys transmission in it. There was a new radiator installed a few years ago too. The front and rear end were upgraded. I am unaware of the manufacturer of them though. The brakes are working. There was also a 2" shackle lift done to the truck too. I think it lifted it up just enough to give it a great off road look to it. There is no rust through anywhere on the truck. There is a couple minor dings in the truck and fenders. The worst part of the truck is the passenger side front fender. The truck bed floor is really nice. The previous owner was a VW mechanic so he put some 1967 VW backup lights on the Willys. They look good mounted on the back! The truck has the perfect aged patina look that everybody loves today. I think its got an amazing vintage look to it and its universal throughout the truck. The front bumper is missing off of the truck. I believe the rear bumper was custom made, however it too looks great on the truck. The interior is all original and needs a new seat cover. The rubber floor mat is original and in good condition with some cracks in it. The dash is nice. Upgraded windshield wipers were installed in the truck some time ago. The original Willys steering wheel looks great with some minor cracking too. The truck comes with an extra original wheel and a tow bar. There is some misc. pieces that are included that are in the back of the truck as well. The truck ran when parked last year but is not currently running. This is an excellent original 1962 Willys that I hope finds a good home. I have a clean and clear title for it too. I can help with coordinating shipping with the perspective buyer.
