1978 Chevrolet C20 3/4 ton Scottsdale This truck has been sitting for a few years but with a new battery and a little starting fluid it fired right up and is running smooth and strong. Has trouble starting cold after sitting for a couple days. Small leak at transmission pan from sitting, after driving for a while this should stop. Motor rebuilt in 1992. Dual gas tank switch not working, bypassed and running on driver side tank. Solid body with minor work required, needs paint. Broken driver side tail light lense. Interior fair, cracks in dash and arm rests, the bench seat (seat portion only) underneath the cheap seat cover is mainly composed of duct tape, horn button broken, needs new door seal rubber. A/C High pressure hoses were replaced and system charged with R-12 in 2003. Air conditioning works!!! Good Bridgstone tires, a little weathered but plenty of tread. Registration is non-op. This truck can be put right back on the road (with a good clean up) or would make a great project.
