Up for sale is my 1981 GMC Sierra 1500. I will be highliting this truck with three main paragrphs. They are the Exterior,interior and lastly the Drivetrain. Exterior: This truck has received a budget all over re paint in the last year. It has a few dings,scratches and general wear. The majority of the damage is hale damage on the hood,its pictured. Paint has a good hard gloss and still shows well. The body is solid including cab corners. You have to love southern trucks. The truck is sitting on a nice set of chrome 15x8 rally wheels. The tires are roughly half tread. Interior: The interior is overall decent. The factory bench seat still sits well and has held up nicely. The carpet is still in good shape. The dash pad is crack free. There has been a aftermarket steering wheel and cd player added. Drivetrain: The 350 V8 engine still runs very strong. It sounds good due to true dual exhaust with 2 chamber flowmasters. The turbo 350 transmission shifts good and crisp. The truck will chirp second gear rubber! The only thing to kick the drivetrain for is the heater core is bypassed and the starter will sometimes catch. I think the starter need to be shimmed? I would drive this truck to California and back as it is. I have put 1000 + trouble free miles on it. In closing: This is a driver quality truck. It could use some TLC to be nicer or could be drove as is. I am listing it at a very fair starting bid and reserve. I have a clean Ga title in hand,in my name. I am looking for a local pick up only.
