1948 m38 . clear title in my name. runs and drives great. original flat 4 cylinder engine, twin stick with low range. custom boxed steel frame is solid as a rock and all the lights work. wipers work. nice exhaust, 33 inch tires, cj7 front disc brakes, soft top and soft doors. top and doors are in great shape with no tears or cracks. plastic windows are yellowed a bit and hard to see through. the tub has a few spots where it has had new steel welded in as patches, but it is solid. floors and tool box are solid as well. seats are very nice. ( no rear seat) 2 inch reciever hitch. with the combination of stock rims and 33 inch tires the rub when you steer to far to the left or right. would be corrected with off set rims or maybe a spacer. this jeep is ready to drive on or off road. my zip code is 16113. clark pa . i'm one hour north of pittsburgh pa one hour south of erie pa. 5 miles from the ohio line.On Jan-21-13 at 21:02:44 PST, seller added the following information: i forgot to mention, it also has cj5 axles with more splines for added strength. and also, i just had a younger fellow come with cash in hand to purchase it. he decided it was not like driving his 2008 jeep wrangler and did not want it. this is fine. so to anyone who may think it looks cool and might be cool to own, it is a 65 year old jeep. it is in good condition, however, it is the grandpa of jeeps. no a/c, no power steering, no power brakes, no air bags, no i-pod plugs, no b.s. reserve has been met. so remember this. the highest bidder will now win it. carry on.
