This 1966 Ford Mustang started with a clean highly optioned 1966 mustang convertible, it came from the factory with a 289 V8, c4 automatic transmission, front disc brakes, am/fm 8 track stereo, power top, a/c. This car was stripped down to bare metal and installed on a rotisserrie and then began a 4 year long restoration that resulted in a exceptionally well done GT350 tribute car. It is a little known fact that there was 4 original convertible GT350 Shelby convertibles made in 1966, and this car was made to look like one of them. The paint on this car is exceptional and all surfaces were painted including the undercarriage and wheel wells, every nut and bolt was replaced during the restoration, and all parts were either restored to like new condition or replaced with new items. The engine and transmission were completely rebuilt and now have only 489 miles on them, this car has never been driven on the road since completion, it has only been trailered to shows and driven very little around the show grounds.
