After a few years of procrastinating I have finally decided to sell our retired 1994 Civic Si show car. The car is in great shape for it's age and has been adult owned & operated from Day 1. I purchased the car in 1998 from a friend's mother who bought it new, and it has been in my hands ever since. The car has been used for events & car shows for the better part of it's life. It has always been garage kept. The car was originally white and had a little hail damage on the hood and roof when purchased, so I decided to do a complete color change to Sunburst Yellow. The black & yellow interior was actually done first, and then I decided to paint the outside to match. One thing that I want to be clear about is the mileage on the vehicle. At 35,000 miles I switched out to a JDM white faced cluster, I had a shop match the kilometers to the miles so that it was accurate. The car now has roughly 75,000 kilometers, so 46,602 original miles. Each time the vehicle has been inspected it has been recorded as miles, so just wanted to be clear with potential buyers that actual mileage is less than listed. As for the overall condition of the vehicle, the car runs & drives great, and operates as it should. We tried to at least start it up 2-3 times a month as well as drive it around a bit to make sure everything is good. Just recently had the A/C compressor replaced & recharged the system, as I was trying to decide if I was going to put it up for sale or not. There is a check engine light that turns on when doing some spirited driving, that's from not having a cat on the exhaust system. Did not notice any change in performance once it turned on. The car was changed to factory power windows and the driver's side window sometimes operates a little slower than the passenger side. The weatherstripping might need to be replaced. There are scratches and dings from over the years, but nothing too outrageous. Some of the carbon can appear cloudy & dull at times, but a little polish and it looks new again. I know I've spent more than double that amount over the years. Don't be afraid to send offers, I will take thought to reasonable offers as I'm a business man and money does talk in my world.
