This 1966 Volkswagen Beetle Deluxe sedan is a definite cut above the rest! First off is the fact that it is not and never has been rusty. Originally from San Mateo, Cal. and then moved to So. Fla. some years ago certainly helps. Both front and rear aprons are original to the car and indicate no accidents. The floor pans and heater channels are excellent, not corroded. The 1300 c.c. engine (F0858710) is the same engine it left the assembly line with. It drives as good as it looks, too. It has been very well maintained and garage kept through its life. Recent service includes a major tune up, including a valve adjustment, points, plugs, condenser, timing and dwell set to factory specifications at a Volkswagen repair shop. A complete brake service was done including master cylinder, wheel cylinders and brake shoe replacement. Tires? They are new, too. A front end alignment and ball joint replacement was also done to bring the little car to a high standard. Unmodified and unaltered VW's are so hard to find. This fine example retains the six volt electrical system and the dash remains uncut. The lights, turn signals and wipers all work well. It was painted once in its original color, L360, Sea Blue and is quite beautiful. Factory options include swing out rear quarter windows, working Sapphire lll AM all transistor push-button radio and an outside passenger side mirror. All in all an excellent example of Volkswagen's lovable little Beetle. As with any forty-six year old car, a few minor imperfections can be found with a close inspection. Odometer reads 37k miles but is exempt due to Florida law on automobiles over ten years old

Fee and Tax Information:

We are a Florida dealer and are required to collect tax if you pick up the car yourself in Florida. If your state is reciprocal with Florida you will be credited for tax paid in Florida when you register the car in your home state. Currently 3 states do not allow credit for tax paid in Florida. They are Arkansas, Mississippi, and West Virginia.

If you contract a shipper yourself and have the car picked up then we are not required to collect sales tax.
