1997 BMW 328i – Looks and Drives Awesome! M3 17” wheels, newer high performance tires, rebuilt suspension, 5-speed manual transmission – handles better than new, but all OEM BMW. California car, meticulously maintained mechanically and cosmetically. Looks as good in person as in these pictures. Beautiful Red with Tan interior. Original paint is in incredible condition; always garaged or covered. Engine and transmission are strong, original. Suspension, struts, and driveshaft redone, tight as new. E36 is probably the best BMW ever made. Never smoked in, never crashed. A few things are not as they once were: slight surface tears in driver’s side seat bolster; traction sensor in right rear (I think) is out – warning light; check engine light from cold start circuit – still passes smog; airbag sensor from passenger seat showing a light; driver’s door lock and handle are stiff; driver’s window has come off track once; sound system display light out – works perfectly otherwise; hood support shocks don’t hold hood open; small scratch left passenger door.
