1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, Bought 3 years ago and have not had the time to restore, she looks nice from about 10 feet away. I do not have a title for this vehicle, Maine does not require it. The good: Frame is solid. Installed a rebuilt motor clutch, pressure plate new brakes and master cylinder New carpet and new head liner. Steering is tight, almost all lights work, but mechanic said she could use a new Wiring harness. Have an extra engine and parts. The Bad. Has had some body work done in the past bondo. Paint is good not great, looks like a MAACO paint job Engine is leaking a litlle oil from the side somewhere as it is leaking on the exhaust. Will need new tires soon. Back bumper has a few rust holes. Needs new tires. Passenger side door latch needs to be replaced as it opens when you are going down the road. Overall, I think this could be a great car for somebody who wanted to take the time to do the cosmetics and a little engine work. Right now it is in working order
