Vehicle Detail
1968 INTERNATIONAL TRAVELALL 1210 4X4 *Original New Mexico Truck* *345 V8 *4SP MANUAL TRANSMISSION *4 WHEEL DRIVE *3/4 TON AXLES *DUAL GASOLINE TANKS I've had this Travelall a little over a year now. We've used it for a couple of car shows and a parade, it definitely is a head turner... Since I've owned it we have replaced all of the hoses on the gas tanks due to dry rot and them leaking a bit. We changed all of the hoses and the whole fuel delivery system is in excellent shape. The bumpers were pretty scratched up so I had them blasted and powder coated. I also had both seats reupholstered. Besides that, the truck has been very easy to maintain and always starts no matter what. This Travelall runs like a top, extremely smooth running 345. I've had several that tapped and smoked on start up, this is not one of those. It seriously is one of the smoothest running 345's I've had. I would guess somebody rebuilt it at some point but I do not have receipts to prove that. The tires are 100% tread, they seem to be period correct because they have extremely deep tread lugs and just look "old school." The exhaust system looks to be fairly new and is very quiet. Mechanically, the travelall is excellent and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. The body has original paint, which is in average condition. The travelall has a few bumps and bruises but I thought it looked pretty darn good considering it's from 1968. They are only original once..... There are a couple of small rust spots as you see in the pictures. Very easy to fix but like I said I was pretty happy with the exterior condition so I left it alone. Rust is definitely not a factor on this travelall and if you wanted to make it perfect it would not be difficult. The electric rear window still goes down as it should and the rear gate unlatches and comes down just fine. The engine compartment is extremely clean as well. I have new felt strips for the windows and new weather stripping that goes with the vehicle. It also has the correct spare tire and rim. Also included is a factory original A/C unit that mounts under the dash. There are some other various parts that go with the Travelall. Don't miss your chance to own a rare 3/4 ton 4x4 Travelall from the 60's. Remember, this truck is originally from New Mexico and it's very dry and 98% rust free. It runs and drives very well. Thanks for looking. 785-633-9336
