Vehicle Detail

Hi everyone, up for saleis my 67 vert finished in Yukon Yellow. It has a freshly done 1641 with Spanish baby Webers, and painted tins. car was stripped and worked over by Wilmer Madera and painted by Edwin Madera ( if you know anything about these guys then you know that they don't play around and build champion cars) Car started off as a california car. Custom one off guage, Gene Berg Shifter, all the rubber and top parts are from Chucks Convertible (Highly recommend this guy) quality parts were used not junk. This is a MULTIPLE 1st place, and "Best of "winning car. Most recent was 1st place and Best of Engines at Pasco BugJam in November. Exterior: * Base Coat Clear Coat L19K Yukon Yellow done by Edwin Madera, Looks a mile deep and shows incredible. * All German rubber used, including stainless window trim, no cheap stuff. * Stainless steel body trim courtesy of Wolfsburg West. * All Windows with the exception of the windshield (big suprise) are original VW. * 15x4.5 front and 15x5.5 rear chrome repro fuchs, wrapped with 195/65 15's in the rear and 155/60 15's in the front. * New CB Performance 2" narrowed beam w/ CB Performance narrowed springs and tierod kit, 2.5" drop spindles with porsche patter dics brakes on the front and porsche pattern drums on the rear(no adapters drilled and studed drums). * Old Speed 4" lowering plates in the rear. * New shocks all the way around. * Front trunk detailed minimal wiring shown, tank painted in Mitel Braun factory 1950 split color, (very clean look) Spare is a chrome Gas Burner with a 155/60 15 on it. * Wolfsburg West Triple Chrome Euro Bumpers (not cheap) with bumper gaurds, and all new hardware and brackets. * Wolfsburg West Light Biege running boards, and Ivory fender beading. * Top is Brown Canvas w/ black headliner (Chuck's Convertibles) all the wood is synthetic to make it last from Wolfsburg West with the exception of the front header bow, I couldn't at the time get it so we went with hardwood that is treated, also new foam and pads were installed at the same time. * All the windows have been resealed with new rear quarter frames installed. INTERIOR: * Seat frames have been painted a hammered gray color (super nice) with new Foam padding, harware and brown smooth seating w/ off white piping. * Color matched door panels * Retro sound radio w/ dash speaker and 6x9 speakers in the back. * Banjo Steering wheel, black, with porsche crest horn button. * One off guage (only one in the world. I had it built for this car) with volts, oil pressure, tach, and speedo all in one. * Porsche crested brown seatbelts, specially made for this car. * Chrome door pulls. * All new dash Handle NOS, new buttons, dash trim, etc.... * New carpet and carpet mats. * Repro German dash tray. Engine: * 1641 Singleport with dual Spanish baby Webers, runs strong sounds great. * Painted tins to match gas tank. * MST Altenator stand, and Renegade Serpentine belt system. * Cloth wrapped wires. * Electronic ignition. * 4psi electric fuel pump * Fully vented. * Smooth fan shroud with doghouse style oil-cooler. * Custom Sebring exhaust. Transaxle: * Original trans, works great! * New Axle Boots, OEM VW parts were used. Other: * New brake lines, clutch, clutch cable, throttle cable, runs heat exchangers so yes it has heat for those chilly days, I know that i've missed allot so if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Final: I know I have missed allot on this car. The detail on the car is tastefull and appeals to everyone she comes accross. The car is super and the pictures reflect that. If you are interested and serious feel free to call or text, (don't take this the wrong way) I'm already giving the car away so please don't insult me with a lowball offer. I have close to 30k in just parts reciepts, not including labor or reciepts that were lost in the shuffle. I encourage potential buyers to come and inspect the car first to know what you are buying and see the car for yourself. As with any 45 year old car its not perfect but dang close.
