1995 Geo Metro LSi Hatchback for sale, 1.0 liter 3 cylinder engine, Manual Transmission, FWD, 178,759 miles. I have owned this Metro for over a year and it has been a great car. Over the year I averaged 45mpg, with the best trip achieving 52mpg. The engine runs strong and has never let me down. The manual clutch was working until one week ago. Car will not go into any gear except 4th and reverse. When the car shifts into 4th or reverse there is a grinding noise. Most likely needs a new clutch. Will need to be towed from Bellefonte, PA. Recent new parts include two rear wheels with 8,000 miles on them as well as two new front tires with less than 500 miles. Car has a new battery and a recent oil change. Brakes have about 50% left. During my ownership I changed the oil approximately every 4,000 miles. Car runs well with the exception of the clutch. Features working cd player. Body has several dents. The most noticeable is on the drivers side near the bottom. Front hood shows a minor ding as well as paint wear. Passenger side shows a large scratch as seen in the pictures. Expect normal body wear and scratches for a car with this many miles. The underside of the car is clean with little surface rust. Interior shows minor stains on the carpet. It was a California car previous to my ownership. Currently PA inspected until 1/2013 $850 obo. Will need Towed.
