Gas Gas TXT70 Rookie trials bike from 2003 in excellent condition. The bike has not been used for several years but has continued to be maintained meticulously. Regularly started with fresh race gas and Belray H1R synthetic oil at 80:1. Everything works and is as it should be. The previous and original owner competed on the 280cc Edition version of the same bike, his son rode this, the Rookie version. Everything he's owned is perfectly maintained and well looked after. This is a full sized bike and looks to be physically the same as the 280cc version. Same sized wheels, frame, forks, swingarm etc. It's just the engine that's smaller and lighter than the 280. This bike feels a similar weight to a downhill mountain bike! Actually a few pounds heavier but so light and flickable. Only the best parts were used to maintain and upgrade the bike. The tires have 'almost new' amounts of tread left. However, they do have cracks from being perished or suffering dry rot. They hold pressure fine and feel relatively soft. Depending what you'll use the bike for, they may warrant replacement. Personally I would not, until they were worn some more. 200 miles is purely an estimate, I have no idea of actual mileage or hours run. The bike has no title and was never registered by either the selling dealer (back in 2003) or the previous and original owner. It will be sold with a DMV 'Bill Of Sale'. On an appointment at the CA DMV recently for another vehicle, I asked them to check the VIN of this bike, it was not in their system. They gave me 2 basic forms to fill in and said to bring them back with the bike for a DMV inspection. That should result in the issuance of a current off highway registration and CA green sticker. All this is for info purposes only and is purely what I'm led to believe. It'll be up to you, as the new owner, to take the required/desired steps to obtain registration. You may choose to simply not bother, depending on your situation and preferances. I pride myself on only selling great bikes. Bikes the same as I would want to own. Clean, no issues and no drama.
