1941 Chevrolet Pickup, Frame off Restoration a few years back. New wiring brakes bearings etc. Everything on the truck works except the dash cluster, wipers and speed odometer. I have installed an under the dash cluster for Oil, Temp and VoltageTruck has a rebuilt 235 engine built by Ty Tech Performance in Lewisburg, Tennessee. The engine was balanced and Dynoed as Ty builds top quality high performance products. Google him and see his stuff. Truck runs and drives great. See the pics. It has the original Chrome grille and has a little bit of flaw and the front bumper has rust on one end of the bumper. It could be rechromed. The back bumper is a fab bumper and I do have 3 or 4 bumpers and brackets that will need to be chromed to put back original. Truck has an updated aluminum radiator. Truck has turning signals, all lights work. Truck aslo has a fab stainless gas tank. The sending unit was not installed therefore the gas gage does not workTruck has a spare and all tires are excellent. Truck has the original tranny which you have to double clutch as they were not synchronizedI have the following extra stuff1. An original (excellent condition) 216 complete engine from a 1941 Panel truck ( Engine has carb, distributor, starter etc just as it was when pulled)2. Original 1941 transmission from the same panel truck above. Engine and transmission are crated and still together see pics3. Extra Grille and bullet that needs to be painted or chromed4. Misc box of carbs and parts including another dash cluster5. 3 or 4 bumpers. some with brackets6. 1 floor pan that has been fiberglassed over at some point7. Original radiator ( replaced the the aluminum mentioned above)8 I have Oak bed rails for the truck but they need to be refinished Truck is all original except the engine, dash cluster, radiator, gas tank and bumper. You can buy this truck and enjoy it or put it back 100% original with minimal work. You can buy this much cheaper then you can build one, The truck is very nice but has some flaws as it was not restored yesterday and has been driven and enjoyed. I have 3 young children and too many toys and the whole family cant ride in the truck so I do not get to enjoy it much. I have my fathers 55 Ford we pile in to go to the local cruise in so I am selling the truck. You will not get a nicer truck for the money especially with the extras that can be sold if you do not wish to use them.fBuyer must pay for shipping or local pickup. I can load the engine crate in the bed on cardboard as the bed is too nice to set the crate in. $500 Deposit due after 5 days of auction end and full cleared payment due before pick up. Pick up within 4 weeks unless other arrangements are made. Cashiers check must clear before truck can be shipped or picked up. I will take a wire transfer to my account or full payment by cashiers check. The wipers do not work. 2. The truck does not have a heater. I have an original heater that needs to be restored. I do not know if the core is good. If the current bidder wins at the current price (that is the bidder who is at $15,000 as of today, 1-5-2013), I will make it right with the heater for this bidder.
