This 1964 grand prix is a project. I will do my best to tell you what needs to be fixed. The motor is a 1973 pontiac 400 with a blown head gasket. But the motor did run strong when it did run. The motor also has a oil leak. Come to find out after I bought the car, the big issue is the oil dipstick BROKE off in the oil pan - not one but two dipsticks are in there. The transmission seemed to be in good condtion and always shifted well. But some one braised in the dipstick tube into the side of the trans pan. The car has lots of options. I'm not going to list them all but it has power antenna, power windows and a power bucket left seat. It is a AC car but no parts for it. I purchased the car from a guy in Michigan, so I dont know how bad the rust is. There is some bubbling in the lower back window and some above the front window. The interior is ok. Someone cut in a tape deck on the dash. Carpet is fading the back arm rest looks as if someone cut it with a knife. There is some stitching coming apart on the driver seat. It sounds like I'm bashing on my car but I just want the possible buyer to know more than I was told from the past owner and the high priced appraiser. I was told the paint is about six years old. It looks good from about 15' away. Some pictures show the car with wire hubcaps, but I put on the right 1964 pontiac hubcaps. The motor is disassembled at this point, so it will need to be towed. I will help if the car needs to be shipped. But it is the responsiblity of the highest bidder. THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS CAR. I will need a $500 non refundable depost with in 24 hours..
