2002 CLK55 AMG DESIGNO EDITION Limited Edition Southern California car from new, never seen snow or smokers. Always garaged and Mercedes serviced from new. All records. 100% clean CARFAX and title in hand. Second owner, 63 yo physician, for 10 years, first owner a retired airline pilot. Most of 131,000 miles accrued in freeway commuting from Santa Monica to ER in Thousand Oaks, a 76 mile round trip. Bought a Porsche 911S, so the CLK's gotta go. Fully optioned, including ipod hookup, 6 CD changer in trunk, COMMAND navigation system, fantastic multi-speaker sound system, heated seats, etc. Just serviced, next one due in 7000 mi. Minor ding (detail in pic), a few surface scratches and wheel rim scrapes as expected. Engine, drive train, brakes, suspension EXCELLENT, car has NEVER broken down on me, besides a dead battery which was replaced. Silver metallic paint still gorgeous. Leather upholstery and interior, top without tears, nice patina. A few items need attention that I don't want to bother with -- power seat motors balky (common on this model, I have a replacement I haven't installed), top cables need tightening or something, but up and down is fully functional as is. Tires have a few thousand miles left on treads, I tried to show in pix. Obviously no rust, bondo , crashes, etc. A great little rocket for only 9 grand.
