This hot yellow reproduction of the iconic AC Cobra is the car for you. Based on a 1999 box section frame and fiberglass body from Classic Roadsters of Fargo ND, the car was built over a ten year period by an experienced car builder who has completed 30 cars. The engine is based on a 1987 Ford 302 Police Interceptor block with early 90s Mustang Cobra heads and fuel injection, roller rockers, high lift cam and Ceramic coated headers. The engine was built to take the stress of a supercharger or Nitrous Oxide. The transmission is a T100 5 speed gearbox. The rear end is a 9" Ford from a Lincoln Mark VII with Disc Brakes & Air Shocks. The front suspension, power steering and Disc brakes are also from the Lincoln. Tires are BF Goodrich Comp TAs on 16” Weld Racing wheels. The interior features tan leather bucket seats, a single roll bar, tonneau cover and a stereo system. In the 2 years since it was finished the car has been driven 4200 miles. The builder states that the car will top out over 160 and turn the ¼ mile in the high 11's.
