Vehicle Detail
This is a 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 dually with the bullet-proof Cummins Turbo Diesel engine, four wheel drive, and six-speed manual transmission. This truck is geared perfectly for towing and gas mileage. I didn't tow very often with this rig, but it comes with a 20,000-pound Reese fifth wheel hitch (installed, but not pictured) and an aftermarket fifth-wheel tailgate that makes for easy hookups and better gas mileage, not to mention the factory-integrated trailer brake control and electronic exhaust brake. I just got the oil changed (which I changed more often than the manual calls for), an alignment, and professional detailing. Wear/tear/dings are minimal on this truck, but you can tell from the bed that it's not afraid to work for you, even if it gets you to the job site and back in style. Original tailgate is available for free if you want it. The manufacturer's warranty is still intact and transferable. I love this truck (especially when the ladies hop in and say, "Oh my, it's so BIG!") but I can't afford it anymore so I am selling it with no reserve. I expect it to go for thousands below book, which is about $37,000 not counting the fifth-wheel hitch and aftermarket tailgate that you get for free. Running boards, Class IV hitch and ball, power windows, power locks, power seat, power sliding rear window, power rear-view dimmer, power GALORE under the hood, heated mirrors, auto headlights, ABS, Big Horn package, fog lights, chain hooks, CD player with satellite radio, cruise, electronic four-wheel drive, huge back seat for adults, 120-volt power outlet, extra glove compartment, console compartment, under-seat compartments, two under-the-floormat compartments in the backseat, and whatever other options I'm forgetting. I am willing to deliver this truck to your door for 85 cents a mile, depending on location. (I'm in the middle of the USA, so I'm not too far from most anybody, but don't ask me to drive it to Hawaii!) $1000 non-refundable deposit is due within 3 days of the auction close. I prefer check or money order, but will accept other arrangements if you contact me. Paypal is fine if you cover any applicable fees. The truck is currently financed through Ally, but I have the title in-hand and will hand it over to you personally once payment is received. I am also willing to accompany you to your local bank if you'd like to finance it or do a bank transfer. Bid with confidence; no truck is going to be perfect, but I wouldn't put this up on eBay if it weren't such a great truck. Feel free to contact me with any questions; the truck is available to look at any time, and you're also welcome to ask a local mechanic to inspect it. Happy bidding! On Jan-02-13 at 07:53:31 PST, seller added the following information: I didn't include the original tailgate in the sale because it has two big dings on it that are beginning to rust. It's fully functional, but ugly. As I said in my original post, you can have it free of charge. If you don't want it, I'll scrap it. The biggest ding on the truck is the one on the rear curbside tub/bedrail, which is clearly in the pictures three times. I know, it's not very noticeable-- I only add this comment because I've had some questions about how pretty the truck is, in spite of all the pictures. Again, the truck has minor wear/tear/dings, but I don't want to hide anything-- the bed was used, and the pictures are complete and unaltered. I'm probably over-emphasizing minor details, but I want to be as honest as possible. Also, I've had quite a bit of interest from Canada. I am willing to drive the truck to meet you near the border and complete the transaction, but I feel it would be in both our interests for you to do the actual importing of the truck yourself. I'm willing to work with a dealership/importer if you prefer. Finally, a couple of people have tried to ask me to circumvent the auction and sell it to them straight-out at a lower price. Please don't ask me to be dishonest, I'm not going to do that.
