Vehicle Detail
This is the 3rd and final time I'll be listing the van on ebay. I'll be keeping it for my own use if I don't find a buyer this time. It didn't sell at $11,450 or $10,900 so I'm dropping the price to $9990. This is my bottom dollar. I will not accept less. It's worth every penny of $9990. You won't find a better (used) Chevy Express AWD 1500 cargo van on ebay. Come inspect it with your fine tooth comb & magnifying glass AND then drive it. You'll buy it! 2006 Chevrolet Express 1500 AWD 5.3L Vortec V8 (295 horsepower) with 84,500 miles - 4 speed automatic transmission plus tow/haul switch There is no hitch so the van has never towed anything. Major options are AWD, ABS, power brakes, steering & door locks (on ALL 6 doors), air conditioning (it's ice cold), tilt wheel, cruise control, AM/FM/CD player, full vinyl floor mats with insulation underneath, deluxe front seats with arm rests... and more that I'm probably forgetting. You can view the entire build sheet (with all option codes) of this van by going to this website... http://www.compnine.com and entering the VIN number 1gcfh15t361119451 in the search box If you've been searching for a super nice Express AWD cargo van for your business or your own personal use... your wait is over! This Express is completely road ready. It starts, stops, runs and drives like a brand new vehicle. No exaggeration! It rides down the backroads & the highway (at all speeds) without a shake, shimmy, vibration or left/right pull. It stops straight and true also. It has many new parts which I will list below. I just drove the van to Depaula Chevy in Albany NY for an oil change and to diagnose the airbag dash light. The service manager told me something I didn't know... the Express AWD cargo vans are very rare. As of 12/29, there are currently 251 Express vans for sale on eBay. Of those 251, only 11 are AWD. Of those 11, only 5 are AWD cargo vans. Of those 5, only 1 is black. That's pretty rare! Along with the oil change the dealer also does a "100 point inspection" of the entire vehicle. They mentioned a few parts that I should have replaced... wiper blades, rear brake pads, air filter, 3 light bulbs not working & 2 new front tires. They determined that the occupancy sensor in the passengers seat is faulty and needs to be replaced. According to the technician, the part alone is $800 plus labor charges to install it. That's just crazy! I opted not to have them fix it due to extreme cost. The passengers airbag is still operable. In a crash, it will only blow open at the lowest power setting (as if a child was in the seat). The service tech mentioned that a used seat with a working sensor could be easily installed at a much lower cost. I checked my local salvage yards and could not find a matching grey seat. So, please understand that the airbag light is currently on but can be fixed for the price of a used seat at a salvage yard ($150 +/-) OR left as/is and driven without issue. In New York state the airbag dash light is NOT a disqualifier during a state inspection. This van WILL pass inspection with the airbag light on. I took the van to Mavis brake & Tire in Troy NY. They installed two new front General Grabber tires (the rear tires are like new) and they replaced the rear brake pads. I then took the van to Advance Auto in Troy NY and had new wipers installed. I bought a new air filter and the 3 light bulbs & installed those things myself. All receipts will be included. The stock radio system has been upgraded to a really nice Sony am/fm/cd indash radio with remote control (Model # cdx-m30) and 2 new door speakers. It sounds and looks great! Sony CDX-M30 Marine AM/FM, CD, AAC, WMA, MP3 Receiver with Front 3.5mm Aux Input Peak Power Output: 52 Watts x 4 Channels RMS Power Output: 17 Watts x 4 Channels Dot matrix display Switchable blue and red button lighting There is a 400 watt inverter mounted to the bottom of the passengers seat. This is wired directly to the vans battery and converts 12 volt power to 110v house current. It has two 5 watt USB charging slots (for phones, cameras & more) and two 110v outlets for charging laptops and operating small household appliances. There are also four (yes 4!) 12 volt charging ports in the dash AND a 12 volt cigarette lighter. That's 5 places in the dash that you can plug in your IPOD, GPS, radar detector, cell phone, portable DVD player, spotlight and any other electronics you need for your trip. This van appears to have never been smoked in. A great addition to the cargo area is insulation in the walls & ceiling. The entire cargo area has been fully insulated with 3/4 inch Celotex foam board insulation and then covered with an easy to clean white panelling. This makes the van cooler in the summer, wamer in the winter and much quieter while driving. There is a 110 volt "pass-thru" in the wall of the van just behind the drivers seat. This allows you to plug the van into 110v house current (or a generator) from the outside and have 110v power on the inside. great for using contractors tools or home electrical items (lights, heater, TV) if you were camping. You can see the orange extension cord coming from under the wall panelling and wrapping around the piping in the ceiling. The adjustable piping in the ceiling makes the van more ridgid and provides numerous places to attach shelving, cabinets or hang things. Kelley Blue Book Value - 2006 Express 1500 AWD: $11,850 - $14,720 Why spend $30,000+ on a new AWD Express when you can buy mine for about 1/3 that amount? Please make sure to click "VEHICLE HISTORY REPORT" above to see the complete history of this van. It receives an autocheck score of 89! Come see the van at my home in Troy NY 12180. It is not currently registered or inspected but you can test drive it in a nearby parking lot. She shines up well with only a wash and wax. 110 volt pass-thru in front of gas filler door No trailer hitch - Never towed anything Optional sliding door windows All lights tested & working. No electrical or mechanical issues New stickers are still on the front tire treads ROOF AWD will safely take you where you want to go. Snow, mud, rain? No problem! A rear Tire The following pictures will highlight any scratches and blemishes in the paint. Someone obviously "keyed" this van at some point in its past. 3 - 4 scratches around gas filler door, drivers side panel Large scratch, drivers side, mid panel Scratch on rear, bottom of sliding door Small ding - Drivers side, rear quarter panel, about chest height Scrape mark above exhaust, passengers side rear The following photos are all of the interior which I cleaned from front to back & top to bottom. As you can see, it is basically immaculate. It smells clean too. Great cup holders & many cubby holes for storing stuff Cruise control, tilt wheel and intermittant wipers 400 watt power inverter (can handle peaks of 1000 watts) Plug in whatever you need to charge up! Cavernous cargo bay with optional full vinyl, insulated floor Cabin interior ceiling is clean Optional "deluxe" cloth seats w/ arm rests. Small stain on drivers seat (front center) Optional "deluxe" cloth seats w/ arm rest. Passengers side Tow / Haul switch, cigarette lighter and two more 12v sockets This van has a 31 gallon gas tank. It gets over 500 miles from a single tank of gas (18mpg on the highway). I just filled it up & it is being sold with a full tank of gas! Flip face Sony AM/FM/CD and two more 12V sockets on passengers side of dash Sony CDX-M30 close up with storage underneath Clear title, owners manual, stereo remote control, one key and recent service receipts Dash pockets Passengers side entryway. It's mostly rust free but there is some minor surface rust here and there
