1950 Chevy Shortbed 5 window with airide suspension! Motor/Trans -Way cooler than a v8, stand out at shows! The motor is a rebuilt straight 6 with a lot of head work, Revs fast quick little truck, cam, ARP head studs, custom built header 6 into 1, Supertrap exhaust, Offenhauser valve cover, Moon breathers, Offenhauser 4 barrel intake, Holley 390cfm carb 8007, Hei ignition, custom alluminum radiator with electric fan, hand fabbed tube radiator mounts and core support mounts, electric fuel pump, all 12 volt wiring, the trans is a th350 with huge alluminum external tranny cooler with braided lines and A/N fittings, lokar trans dipstick, custom tube tranny cross member, rear mounted ARE 18 gallon spun alluminum gas tank with custom straps. Body - The body is in nice shape, its in tan urethane primer looks really yellow in the pics, Az truck, very solid, the cab is a 5 window cab, the doors have been shaved and installed bear claw latches, you can manually open them from small bullets on the inside or from pull cord from outside as well, shaved lower cab vents, the bed is from a donor 54 chevy, I built a custom bed floor and raised it, also hinged it so you can lift it up to show whats underneath, Frenched dual 59 Cadillac l.e.d. tailights in the fenders. Interior - The inside consists of hand fabricated billet alluminum hanging brake and gas pedals, custom floor transmission hump and driveshaft tunnel, Shaved and weathered dash with stripping done by the famous "SamR" from the Ozarks, custom gauges, Stock seat lowered and recovered, lots of head room, Steering wheel and column out of a 40s chevy with working automatic shift on the column with custom made linkage and heims, new og door panels, new window cranks, new stainless bolt kit, new window channels, Old school gun rack in the rear window etc. The floor is bare metal with no carpet. The Chassis - The Chassis consists of a well done late 70s Camaro front clip grafted to the original frame, No power steering as its not needed, A custom battery box in stock location and custom mounts for tranny cooler under cab, Airide Technologies 4 link rear with panhard bar, custom fabricated backhalf that houses the air tank the compressors and frame mounted fuel tank, custom bridge with shock mounts, lays on the running boards..this is a very well done setup, The truck also has a camaro rear end, 4 wheel disc brakes, firewall mounted booster and master cylinder, The driveshaft is alluminum with a custom driveshaft loop, The 2 compressors are Viaar 444c and it has 6 nickle Asco 3/8s electric valves with adjustable slowdowns. 4 are for the front and 2 for the rear. 3 switches the fronts individual and rear is together. The fittings are all push to connect and nickle plated. 3/8 line front to rear. The wheels are 14x7 Supremes with rare and hard to find Remington tires with pinner whites. The truck lays flat when aired out and can still turn while riding low! As you can see there is a ton of custom and hand fabricated greatness on this truck. She gets lots of attention and people will give you a smile or the finger!! This is not a flawless trailer queen its a driver and with the Camaro front clip it rides way better than any mustang 2 clipped truck could ever dream of (I know I've had a few) and it smokes my 99 Gmc pickup to boot.
