Vehicle Detail
This beautiful Eldorado convertible is one of 3,300 built and marketed by Cadillac. It remained in California from when it was purchased new at the famous Lou Ehler's Cadillac Dealership on Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles until it was brought to Southwest Missouri in January 2012. It is absolutely rust-free....ZERO rust whatsoever. The interior is beautiful and includes a NOS full carpeted door to door front floor mat. Everything works including the optional digital dash, power trunk closer, seats, windows, climate control and power antenna but the fuse for the factory alarm system has been removed due to a slight power draw. White button-tufted interior is offset by blue dashboard, carpet and the original blue vinyl tonneau cover. New white power top works perfectly and the rear windows lower when the top is lowered. Only the convertible Eldorado had rear windows....the coupe did not. The original bumper fillers are soft and pliable with only one of the four having a small hairline crack. There is a small dimple on the hood and a light "crease" in the bottom of the passenger door that can barely be seen. A repair to these panels are minimal due to easy matching of the white paint. Other than these areas, the original paint is beautiful and shiney as would be expected of a garage kept car. The 30 year old leather is soft and not cracked...see photo of the driver's seat. Owner manual are included. The base cost of the Eldorado Biarritz Convertible before options was $31,286 in 1984...nearly $10,000 more than a Biarritz hardtop and the reason for their extremely limited production! On Dec-29-12 at 13:00:08 PST, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE: I DID NOT MENTION THAT THE CAR HAS A CLASSIC CADILLAC ELDORADO HEAVY CHROME GRILL ADDED SINCE THE FIRST SET OF PHOTOS WERE TAKEN. THE CAR INCLUDES THIS EXPENSIVE AND HIGHLY DESIRABLE GRILL! ALSO, THE ORIGINAL BLUE CALIFORNIA TAG WILL GO WITH THE CAR CURRENTLY REGISTERED IN MISSOURI. I HAVE ADDED PHOTOS OF THE CAR TAKEN THIS AFTERNOON.
