For sale is my 2001 Dodge Ram..I purchased this truck in 05 from the second owner the first owner being the guys uncle.. I was told the transmission was rebuilt from the previous owner.Has been a excellant truck with the only major repair being an injection pump replacement two years ago from industrial injection. I installed a edge ez 3 years ago for fuel mileage, The trans was serviced last year and while I had the pan off I replaced the shift solinoid and adjusted the bands. Installed a Billet strut and anchor as preventitive maintenance, since the oem ones are known to bend and break. Just replaced the drivers side outer tie rod end, Numerous fuel transfer pumps have been replaced as preventitive maintenance to keep the vp44 with the right amount of fuel.. Will include a new one for future replacement. I added gauges, trans temp, boost and egt temp, and a low fuel pressure light. The interior is in really nice shape with the exception of the cracked dash that are typical on these trucks. The truck has always had seat covers from the time it was new, so the seats are in excellant shape. Nobody has smoked in this truck since I have owned it. The truck has 4:10 gears with a limited slip rear axle, which are perfect with the 35" tires.. Has the camper package with front and rear sway bars and overload springs, Overhead console with auto dimming rearview mirror, infinity sound system. I have tried to keep my truck in good shape with limited winter driving as seen by the undercarriage and mostly garage kept since owning it.. With that being said, the doors for some reason have rust starting on the bottom of them.. numerous dents and dings the worst being the drivers side cab corner that happened in the parking lot at work.The pass side has a dent in the lower part of the bed, The d/s right rear fender has a dent in it under the tail light from the previous owner backing into something, he replaced the bumper and did some amateur body work. Heres what the truck will need..The truck is due for a oil change soon, "does not use any oil between oil changes" "I have used chevron delo with either a mopar or fleetguard oil filter" Will need a track bar "third one i have replaced since owning it" The tires are in need of replacement, The fog light bulbs are burnt out "have new ones that will be included" The trans temp gauge sometimes works and sometimes dosent, the boost gauge bulb is burnt out ..Also noticed some dampness from power steering fluid around the steering box.. Please remember this is not a new truck. The body has dings and dents in it, paint scratches, etc..These motors run forever, the last dodge cummins I owned had 560,000 miles and still ran like a top.. This will make somebody a great work truck or tow vehicle.. The only reason for selling is I need the money to finish some other projects that have been put on the back burner for too long.. Sold as-is with no warranty.. Mileage may increase slightly as the truck is still being used... I have the right to remove this listing at any time.. I just installed a new steering box yesterday to take care of the leak, so that problem is fixed... If the truck does not sell this time around I will just keep it. so bid accordingly..
