Up For auction is a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500Xl Fastback, it has a 390cid FE 8 Cylinder engine, bucket seats, console with B&M rachet shifter, aluminum aftermarket radiator, dual electric fans, MSD ignition and wires, the wing windows still crank open and closed, the rear quarter windows also still open and close. The window regulator for the passanger side door is broken but I still have the door panel. The car is also missing the gauge cluster and bezel. The engine turns over but I havent been able to get it to start, although I havent had alot of time to mess with it. The body and frame are in very good condition. The floor, trunk area and body pans seem to be rust free (I looked and didnt see any rust but I am not classic car guy and dont know exactly where to look. I did see what looked to be some bubbling in the paint above the rear fenders roughly 4" long not sure if that was rust or not but wanted to include it. The rockers and door area are free and clear of any rust on the body the passanger side door has some on the lower front part of the door. The bumpers are in great shape with only a little surface rust. The car also has dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and a crossover pipe. The motor is not completly stock as it has and Edelbrock performer 460 intake and a 4 barrel carb. The wheels are aftermarket ( not sure of the brand) and it will need tires all the way around, they are bald and have dry rot in the side walls. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early for a local sale. Also I am Car Dealer and will have to charge tax to Colorado residents. Stock # 182274.
