This is a rare 1962 Triumph T120 650 Bonneville UK Edition. It is one in a collection of rare Triumph’s being sold for a private collector and restorer. This motorcycle is especially rare because the 1962 650 Bonneville was the last year pre-unit Triumph motorcycle built. In 1963 Triumph built the first 650 unit construction Bonneville. Both are both highly sought after. I have one of each available. This Sky Blue and Silver UK Edition will be the centerpiece or any collection. It is 50 years old this year. It is quite literally a brand new 50 year old 1962 Triumph Bonneville in every sense of the word. The motorcycle received a full professional concourse frame off restoration in 2010-2011. It is a museum quality, grade one concourse restoration with zero miles on the motorcycle since the completion of the restoration. The motorcycle had 18, 363 miles on it when restored, as shown in the pictures. The engine has been started for tuning and nothing more. The restoration of this motorcycle took over 300 hours not including paint work. The paint for the motorcycle was provided by Don Hutchinson. David Hurst of Knoxville Tennessee painted the tank, fenders, oil tank, battery box, left side cover, frame and all black work on the motorcycle. Every item on this motorcycle; the engine, transmission clutch, carburetors, primary and electrical system, and every nut, bolt, bushing etc., on the entire motorcycle has been rebuilt. All new parts were NOS parts. This truly is one of the nicest 1962 Bonneville's I’ve personally ever seen, and I see a lot of Triumphs. The United Kingdom color scheme really pops and is very rare. The motorcycle listed is competitively priced based on quality and comparable motorcycles. There is one comparable 1962 Triumph Bonneville UK Model motorcycle available in the United Stated today. It is available from Sullivans for $25,000. Both are exceptional Triumphs worthy of any collection. This motorcycle is being sold as-is where-is on an auction or negotiated price basis.
