Reluctantly selling my 79 F150.. I need the money to finish off some other projects I have... I purchased this truck from the original owner two years ago.. The Truck was special ordered by him in 79 from Bob Bell Ford in glen burnie Md..has been across country twice, I have included a pic taken in 1982 when he had it in wyoming. Ordered with the Ranger trim package, with rare factory marchal fog lights "that still work" and ford push bar, locking glove box and hood release, locking gas caps, light package with under dash lights, cargo light, under hood light and glove box light. Has the factory ford tow hooks which are also rare, quad shock front end, 6300 gvw package, locking front and rear diffs, working am fm stereo, factory white wagon wheels. 351 v8 and a 4 speed, part time transfer case and dual fuel tanks.Let me start off with the good.. Has nearly new tires on it maybe less than 5000 miles.. The 351 always starts right up at the flip off the key, and carrys good oil pressure even when warm.The miles are original at 122k..Drives nice down the road with no slop in the steering.. Floor pans have been repaired a few years back..Also has a green spray in bed liner, Ok heres the bad.. has some rust bubbles that are popping out around the wheel wells the worst being on the pass side, some bubbles on the roof as seen in the pics. some rust on the lower fener right past the rear wheel well.. Needs a pass side rear spring hanger, "did the drivers side last month pretty easy to fix" selector valve is bad for the fuel tanks "only the front one is being used" also the tanks are plastic so no leaks.. drivers door panel is loose, has a dent in pass side door,the bed floor is soft in spots, with a hole in the spray in liner, interior hood release handle is broke, seat has some minor tears. Rear brkes could use some adjusting. as with the clutch "holds fine just grinds a little when going from fwd to reverse" Please remember this truck is over 30 years old, so it is not perfect.. would make a nice restoration project.. Also needs a switch for the cargo light.. it works just needs a switch..Sold as is, no warranty!! Also have this truck for sale locally so I have the right to remove this at any time.. Also have a factory ford truck cap that is included with the truck if the buyer wants it.
