Vehicle Detail

I'm looking to sell my classic 1975 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale. To get a bit more education on this particular vehicle, check out the Wikipedia page (en.wikipedia . org/wiki/Oldsmobile_88#1971.E2.80.9376). As a brief summary, Oldsmobile only produced 7200 of these convertibles as it was the last year they were produced, and they were advertised with a tagline of, "Today a beautiful Olds convertible, tomorrow a collectors item." 37 years after production it certainly has held up to that promise. To begin with, I've been driving it as a daily driver all summer without any issues at all. It starts, runs, stops, shifts, etc. excellently. The convertible top still works great. To go through everything good about this car, especially considering its age, would be quite the list. Instead I am going to try and provide as exhaustive a list of its problems as I can, although if I forget anything it will simply be an omission of ignorance rather than of malice. It is being sold as-is, where-is and comes with no warranty expressed or implied. With that said, when I start it in the morning it starts right up but will sometimes stall going in to reverse/drive, likely due to the carburetor needing a cleaning/carb kit. Once it warms up it has no issues whatsoever, has plenty of power, and sounds great. As I said, I've been using it as a daily driver for months and haven't been left stranded anywhere. The exterior of the car is mostly in great shape. The front grille has some paint flaking, there are some small rust issues around wheel wells and along the bottom of the car, the bumper of the car appears to have been bumped at some point or another as the gas door doesn't quite close all the way but it doesn't affect any function of the car and the frame remains straight and without any holes. The window motors work great except for the driver side rear window which works but struggles. The rubber around the windows has decayed a bit due to age so there are small gaps between the window and the roof of the car when the window is fully up. Still, despite the age and weathering of the weatherstripping the car will not leak except under the heaviest downpour of rain, such as in an automatic car wash. The top is in great shape except on the driver side there is about a foot long tear that I have sewn up to make it so it would stop tearing further and to prevent any liquid from dripping it. My sewjob, while not particularly attractive, has been effective in both of those respects. On the inside of the car the driver seat has two small tears in it, the dash has a quarter-sized crack in it, and there is some other general wear and tear, but nothing significant. Really while all of this may seem like a lot, considering the shape of the car and all the head-turning and photographs it inspires, I would still consider it approximately 80% fully restored and, when fully restored, it will pull in a great deal more money than I am asking for it now. If anyone has any other more specific questions feel free to contact me and I will answer as best I can, and with photographs if needed.
