0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false Up for auction with NO RESRVE is a 1942 Lincoln Continental. This car is registered as a 1942 Lincoln but has a 1946 front end. The body and frame numbers are 1942, the car was switched to a 1946 before I took ownership of it. The car has a 460 Ford Big Block and a C6 transmission mounted in it. The motor has been rebuilt but has never been started. The front end has been changed to a Mustang 2. The steering column is GM. The only rust that I can find is on the lower rear window and a small amount on the floor passenger side at the cowl. Inside trunk area is rust free. I have had this car for over 20 years, stored inside a building in California. I have some extra parts (as you can see in the pictures) that will NOT go with the car. This auction is just for the car ONLY!!!! What is attached to the vehicle is what the auction is for. I included the pictures of the parts to let people know that I have some parts if someone needs something. At this time I do not want to sell any of the parts, I will consider after the auction has ended. If you are interested in the extra parts, please call me directly and we can talk. As you know, there was only 200 Club Coupes made in 1942, this could be turned back into a 1942 if someone has the sheet metal and "cat whiskers" for the front end. The numbers for the frame and body plate are the right numbers for a 1942. Buyer will be responsible for ALL shipping costs, I will assist anyway I can to help the buyer with shipping.
