1991 CHEVROLET ASTRO EXT VAN Description Here is a 1991 Chevrolet Astro Van EXT. This vehicle has been owned by the city since it was manufactured, and has had routine maintenance with the fleet. Public works has an in-house mechanic, so they do all of their own repairs and maintenance. VIN # 1GNDM19Z8MB165812 mileage: 118083 Engine: V6 4.3L This vehicle is selling AS-IS. The engine is in need of a TUNE UP. It did seem to run a little rough when I started it. Public works employees advise me that other than that it runs good. I was further advised that the blower switch for the heat /AC needs repair. It doesn't work all the time. The automatic door locks are also in need of repair. I couldn't get the front passenger door to unlock with the auto lock. The back rear door panel is missing. The interior of the van is pretty rough and will need a very good detailing. Dents and scratches, with heavy rust in places on the vehicle. Many years ago, this vehicle was used as the Police DARE van. There is some slight signs of the old stickers on the back panel areas. Can't hardly see them though. Public works has used the vehicle since around 1999 or 2000. It will still make a nice old work van for cheap!! Check out options on the van below.....
