Offered for sale is a 69 MERCEDES BENZ 280-SL (W113 CHASSIS) PAGODA ... Roadster The Motor runs strong and has logged fewer than 10,000 miles since it was thoroughly re-built in 2007 by a competent Mercedes mechanic, the automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all gears, original engine with automatic transmission... The car steers true and pulls straight and strong when merging onto the freeway, the interior is all-original and it is in good condition... The tires are new plenty of thread and the brakes are good, The Convertible top is in excellent condition, same as the back window... The paint is nice and shiny; there are no dents, front and the rear chrome bumpers are nice and shiny with no dents... However, some paint bubbles over right rear tire well, a tiny paint bubble over left rear tire well, and some at the base of hard top small paint chip on hood, some cracking in the paint near rear tail light, there is surface rust where paint has chipped away... I cannot find any place on the body where rust has gone beyond the surface, the previous owners had undercoating applied at some point and it did a marvelous job of protecting the body, the undercarriage restoration was done in 2007. * MECHANICALLY RUNS SUPER NICE, GREAT ACCELERATION, THERE ARE NO LEAKS OF ANY KIND AND NO SMOKE COMING OUT OF TAIL PIPE AND OIL FILLER CAP. THE ENGINE SOUNDS SUPER NICE... YOU CAN DRIVE THIS CAR ANYWHERE ANY TIME, IT'S A SOLID DAILY DRIVER VEHICLE.
