1976 Ford F250 4x4 "Highboy" Here is what I know and have learned about this truck- This is a nice old Ford Truck that runs and drives well. It is a Longbed with a spray in bedliner and the "tool stowage" box built in underneath. It has new door weather stripping and the weather stripping around the windshield is in very nice condition. All the glass is in good shape with no cracks. It has a 360 V8 motor, 3 speed automatic transmission. Ford locking hubs, Towing Package, 2 barrel carb, additional storage box under the hood and sliding rear window. It does have power steering and has been in Georgia since it was purchased new. In the dash of the truck contained all ORIGINAL documents as follows; Bill of sale from Caudell Ford in Cleveland Georgia dated 6-30-1976, Warranty Facts Booklet, First registration/tag receipt, Owners Manual and FCC CB radio license. I have not found any frame rust and the drive train doesn't have any mud stains that I see. I washed under the truck but not the motor so you can see it as is it is. I have the receipt where a new C6 transmission was installed about 30k miles ago and it cost around 1300 from Mr. Transmisson. All the lights work on the truck, 4wd works great What I know this truck needs- Somebody has installed an aftermarket radio. Sometimes it plays and sometimes it doesn't. Tailgate is missing Door key but the locks do work. Passenger side window handle works but needs to be replaced because it is broken just below the knob Vehicles doesn't have a title. In Georgia Vehicles of this age can be transfered and registered by bill of sale. Please know the laws of your state before purchasing. Drivers side vent window locking handle. Seat on drivers side has a slight tear but springs/cushions are still solid and sit high. It has been repainted. As you can see from the Original Bill of sale it was sold as Candy Apple Red. I did not list that as the color because I am not sure that is the color code they used when repainting the truck. I have tried to get the best angle on the truck to show it looks very straight down each side and I can not find any bondo. But I'm not a professional. I did find one spot of rust that is shown in the pictures on the lower drivers door corner on the inside, its not visible with the door closed. Dash pad does have cracks but they aren't opened up to the point of exposing the pad underneath. Very top of the cab needs to be painted and there is a spot on the hood where the clear coat is coming off and the gas tank is behind the seat and gas overflow has peeled that paint off below the fill cap. This is a 1976 vehicle that has been taken well care of and is in good shape. It's not a new truck though. Keep that in mind when you bid or purchase. I have done the best I can to describe any issues and document with photos. If you have any questions or need specific photos please let me know.
