For inspection, horn and wipers work, windshield clear other than scratch on passenger side and e-brake holds. Not available for Ma. sale/registration, as not 'pre-inspected for it. Brakes well with hard stop. Maintenance; As this is a new-car trade, no service records come in the glovebox due to store's 'privacy policy'. Take the ViN to your local Jeep store's Serv. Mgr. to run on his national service data base for recall/service history. Due for a complete interior detail- spots on upholstery ), with center console and arm rest not clean. No mechanical repairs were noted from the test-drive only to 50mph. A 'pre-trip', Jeep recommended under-car inspection-available at a local third-party specialist shop for $69.(after Dec.25) for those not shipping.
Fixits; the following list is as complete as possible from the test drive; Sides, tops and bumper covers (nicks and scuffs)may have scratches, attendant with an off-road vehicle of the era(see pix) Few dings-scrapes on sides and tops.(see pix) Better than average body has usual light corrosion on lower door edges, windshield pillars and various spots on sides tops and underneath.(see pix) Passenger side floor needs rust repair.(see pic) Good tread on set of tires. Driver's seat has wear-through on side bolster(get a great set of covers on ebay for around $75.) No spare tire or rack. Hardware to mount rear window vinyl missing on tailgate. Driver's door armrest missing and interior door latch need(replsace)-passenger armrest is loose. Stereo not lighting up. Wire left loose thru tailgate. scratch on passenger-side of windshield. Not for perfectionists sold as a bodyman's special-so please bid and buy accordingly. Thanks!
