The mustang is the most iconic and well known muscle car ever! This is your chance to pick up a 1968 mustang for a unbelievable great price! This 1968 mustang is a true surviver, it has never had any body work done to it, it is all orignal and will need restoration,The body is very solid with only 2 small rust holes in front of rear wheels as shown in the photos, there are some minor dents and dings but I see no bondo anywhere on the car. I bought brand new front and rear bumpers for the car. All other chrome trim is in nice shape. The front floors will need replacing the rear floors and under the seats are like new. it will need the frame section under the left floor, all the rest of the frame is very solid with no rot. The trunk will need a small patch and the gas tank on top has some small holes that will need repair or replace the tank for under 100.00. The rear seat is in very nice shape, the front seats have some tears in the center section. All glass is there and in nice shape. The car will need a headliner, carpet and some body work and paint. The dash is in excellent shape. The motor is a 6 cylinder with an automatic trans. The engine has no carburator but turns over and runs with gas sprayed in the intake. The hood may need to be replace, it's actually in nice shape except the rails on the inside are rotted. I took off the hinges and had them sand blasted, I haven't put them back on.The firewall has no rust, there is a small rust hole on the inside aprons maybe the size of a half dollar.This car is an nice restoration project but I just got another project car and don't have time to work on the mustang.
